I read ‘The Coat’.
There is a boy whose name is Mark. He is listening under the window at old Mr. Crowe’s house. If he moved away now, he might be seen. Mr. Crowe found his old coat. But, a woman put it out for the garbage truck this morning. Mark thought she must be Mr. Crowe’s daughter. It was not just a coat for the old man. He said, “The pockets were full of treasure!” Mark amazed when he head about that. He had to find the coat at once. He ran his house to get his bicycle. Mike followed the truck and he could feel the sweat running down his back. He is only thinking about the treasure. He wondered what could be in the pockets. For example, he thought that there would be diamonds, emeralds, rubies or hundreds of dollars at least. The thought of it kept him going. Then, he reached the top of hill. He stopped behind the truck. Finally, he found the coat and picked up his bike. Mark went home soon. He spread out the coat. There was an old watch, photo of a young woman and so on. He checked through the pockets again, but there was nothing in the pocket. He was disappointed about that. After that, He decided to give this coat to Mr. Crowe. “I found this coat,” said Mark. Mr. Crowe looked surprised when he took his coat from Mark. But, he looked so happy.
I was moved by this story. The hero, Mark was very kind boy.(260words)(2.2points)

My favorite person

Hello, I am going to tell you about my favorite person. My favorite person is Ichiro Suzuki. As you know, he is a baseball player. I like him when he played in Japan. He belonged Oryx in Japan. He has been playing baseball in USA since 2001. And he accomplished the great undertaking that hit over 200 every year. I thought he is great player, who all the people admire. But, I knew that Ichiro made a lot of efforts to get the skills. For example, when he was a high school student, he went to batting center after club activity. At that time, he played as a pitcher. In spite of his efforts, he couldn’t win at the Koushien. Ichiro is a professional baseball player now. He has been continuing his efforts. I felt I also need to make a lot of efforts from now on. I am going to write about my schedule of Wednesday. I took listening class at the first period on Wednesday. I have only one class on Wednesday so I did a reading assignment after class. I came home at noon. Then, I went to part time job and I worked three hours. After that, I went to tsukemen shop with my colleague. This tsukemen shop is managed by my uncle. Its name is ‘Ibushigin’. It was opened on February in this year. The taste is pretty good. It is near the Kinou hospital. I would like you to visit my uncle’s tsukemen shop! (104words)

Book Review 6

I read ‘BEARS IN CAMP’.
Enrique, Mike and Brian are staying at a camping ground in the mountains. They‘re all going on a hike with a ranger. The ranger told the three children that they will go to Iceberg Lake and help to keep the bears away. Then, the hiking started. They moved on the Iceberg Lake trail. Suddenly, the ranger stopped and pointed on the ground. There were some footprints of bears. They moved further. The ranger took out her binoculars. She saw a bear at a safe distance. Then, they arrived a deep blue lake surrounded by high mountains. After eating lunch, they backed down the trail. At the night, the three children quickly fell asleep in their tent. Later, Mike could hear noises outside the tent. It was slow and heavy footsteps. Everybody woke up and they thought that it must be a bear. The three children moved closer together. The heavy footsteps left away after a few minutes. Then, it was morning, the ranger came back to the children. She apologized about the night. In fact, the ranger patrolled with another ranger. The children were relieved to hear that. After that, they began to hike again.
This story was little thrilling for me. I want to go camping.(212words)(2.3points)

My favorite building

Hello, I tell you about my favorite building. I like stations of trains. Especially, I like big station. For example, I like Hakata station, Tokyo station Kyoto station and so on. I have been to Tokyo station when I was second grades of high school. It was my first visit to Tokyo. Every building is larger than in Kumamoto. There were so many railways in Tokyo station. I was surprised the length of trains. There were made up of fifteen cars. I thought they are about four times as big as Kumamoto’s train. Anyway, I have never been to Kyoto station, Nagoya station, Osaka station. I watched these stations by TY. When Kyushu Shinkansen makes up, I want to visit these stations.(122words)

Movie Review 3 Brassed off

I watched ‘Brassed off’ at the first time. This movie is a story about miners of brass band. It is not interesting for miners to perform instruments at all. They couldn’t enjoy, because the coal mine shaft where they are working is likely closed. One day, a woman whose name is Gloria visits them. The conductor, Danny refused to join her. But, she is good at performing. Everybody gave her applause. Danny also admitted her. Gloria’s real job is to draw up about coal mine shaft.
Then, the concert was held. However, miners drank alcohol before the performance and they didn’t look like serious. The result was the worst. Danny scolded everybody. After that, the band went to semifinal the next concert. However, their coal mine shaft was closed at last. Moreover, Phil’s father Danny fell down in the path. His lungs became weak because he worked at coal mine shaft. Phil has debt and his family’s household goods were carried out. Then, his wife took her children and went back to her parents’ home. Phil has worked as a clown, but this wasn’t going well. Finally, he attempted suicide out of despair. But, he was rescued by some passersby, and he was carried hospital. It was the same hospital where his father was hospitalized. At the same time, Gloria was betrayed her company. She has been making reports about the coal mine shaft for a long time. But, her reports became useless. Everybody in her band knew her job, and thought she betrayed. Andy showed a friendly attitude for her, so he seemed to be shocked. After that, the miners performed in front of Danny’s hospital. Although Phil tried to tell everybody that gave up the band, he couldn’t tell about that. Danny and Gloria wanted to perform at the final stage. Everybody began the band again. After a few days, they went to the concert hall. They performed wonderful. They won the championship. Danny was given a trophy, but he refused. Then, Danny spoke about the miners. After that, the audience applauded Danny’s speaking.
I have heard some pieces of music before. And I knew this is the true story in Britain. Twenty five hundreds thousands people lost their jobs. I was very sorry to know that. I thought this movie is very good.(387words)

This Weekend

Hello, I am going to write about my weekend. First, I tell you about on Saturday. I woke up at ten o’clock. I watched one-piece over eating breakfast. Then, I went to swimming school to work as a part time. I worked about five hours and a half. I continued to teaching swimming for children in pool. I was so tired.
Next, I woke up at before eight o’clock on Sunday. I didn’t want to wake up at early morning. But, I had to go to part time before ten o’clock. There is one class on Sunday, so I could get home before noon. After that, I and my family went to vote mayoral election. This is my first voting to the election, because I became twenty years old two weeks ago.
Finally, I have a lot of assignments this week. I will do all of my assignments until this weekend!(151words)
